Security Guard (Grade C)

What you will do

This is a talent pipeline position. We are building a list of registered guards for posts that open up with our clients. You may not start straight away.

You will guard a site and keep the people and the property on it safe. That means access control at the gate, signing people in and out, checking vehicles, walking your patrol route and watching for anything out of place.

You write everything in the occurrence book. Every visitor, every delivery, every incident. If something happens you report it straight away to your control room and your supervisor.

You must stay awake and alert for your whole shift. Shifts are 12 hours and they include nights, weekends and public holidays.

Posts are at shopping centres, office parks, factories and residential estates.
