Merchandiser – Fashion Retail | Cape Town South Africa 2026

What you will do

Do you have an eye for product placement, a feel for trends, and the ability to make a store come alive visually?

We are recruiting an experienced Merchandiser for a premium fashion retail brand expanding across South Africa. Your work will directly influence how customers experience the brand and how product moves off the floor.

What you will be responsible for: Executing visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines. Planning and implementing product placement strategies to maximise sales. Monitoring stock levels and identifying fast and slow moving lines. Analysing sales data and adjusting floor layouts accordingly. Ensuring the store always looks premium, on brand, and shoppable.

What we are looking for: Minimum 2 years merchandising experience in fashion retail. Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles. Commercially minded with the ability to read sales data. Detail oriented with excellent organisational skills. Knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer behaviour.

This role is permanent and based in Cape Town
