Boutique Manager (Luxury Retail)

What you will do

A boutique manager runs one store and everything inside it. Team, sales, stock and the way the space looks and feels.

Selling stays part of the job at this level. The manager carries the store target, works the floor with the team and handles the top clients personally.

Teams here are small, usually four to eight people. Hiring, training on product and service, building the roster and growing each person happens week to week.

Stock is high value, so counts, security, consignment pieces and repairs are documented carefully.

Visual standards follow the brand guide. Windows, display cases and the new range on the floor on launch day.

Building a client book matters. Knowing the regulars by name, calling them when the right piece arrives and keeping those relationships warm.
