You own the store's complete operations and profitability. You report to the Area Manager and act as the ultimate leader on the shop floor.
You set the daily sales strategy and tie it to the money. Every rand is traceable to targets, conversion rates, or customer experience, and you present that case to regional leadership.
You own the brand experience in-store. What it stands for, how it looks and how it feels, everywhere from the front window displays to the fitting rooms.
You run the full retail mix. Visual merchandising, stock control, customer service, shrinkage, and local promotions. You decide how to optimize the floor plan to drive maximum revenue.
You lead and grow the store team, and you work closely with HR and regional operations.
You report weekly on sales vs budget, units per transaction (UPT), conversion rates, stock loss, and staff performance.
At least 8 years in retail with 4 years managing a high-turnover fashion or sports store
You have owned a store P&L of real size and reported on it to regional management •
Strong on both operational discipline and customer experience, not just one side
You can read the sales data and make a floor plan or rostering call on it
Matric required; Diploma in Retail Business Management or a related field is a plus
South African retail market experience, you must know this consumer
