What you will do

You own marketing for the whole business. You report to the CEO and sit on the executive team.

You set the strategy and tie it to the money. Every rand is traceable to leads, sales or brand value, and you present that case to the board.

You own the brand. What it stands for, how it looks and how it sounds, everywhere from a shop window to a WhatsApp message.

You run the full mix. Digital, performance, content, PR, events and retail marketing. You decide what stays in house and what goes to an agency.

You lead and grow the team, and you work closely with sales and product.

You report monthly on cost per lead, cost per sale, return on ad spend, market share and brand tracking.

What you need

•

At least 10 years in marketing with 5 years leading a team

•

You have owned a marketing budget of real size and reported on it to a board or exco

•

Strong on both brand and performance marketing, not just one side

•

You can read the data and make a call on it

•

Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field

•

South African market experience, you must know this consumer
